Rhys took over the leadership mantle of KMG (India) after the passing of Late Mr. Elroy Vaz, Regional Director (India), in 2020.

Rhys started training in Krav Maga in 2010 under the tutelage of Elroy Vaz and has since then conducted over 50 Women Self Defence Workshops for various corporate entities, teaching over 2500 women across India.

He has also conducted multiple Self Defence Workshops for various NGOs, whose audience ranges from rescued / destitute women to rehabilitated children in safe houses across India.

Rhys has travelled extensively across countries, to further his training and bring back to India the depth of knowledge and best practices of Krav Maga.

Apart from a 1st Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, which he received at a young age of 9, he also holds copious credentials in KMG certifications; Graduate Level 4, Close Protection Instructor Course, Civilian Instructor Course, Women Instructor Course and Kids Instructor Course.

His achievements over a short span of time are standing testaments to his love for Krav Maga, leadership and his passion to teach.
